You do not need to install our TSX USB Client on the client pc to connect to our XP/VS Terminal Server. The TSX USB client is only needed as an addition to our XP/VS Terminal Server Professional if you want to redirect client attached USB devices to your XP/VS Terminal Server which can not be redirected by the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (tab "local resources") Such USB devices are e.g. USB Scanners, USB Webcams, USB Handheld computers, etc.

Instead you just need to use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client which is already included in Windows.

e.g. in Windows XP you have to go to:

- Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Remote Desktop Connection
- or Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> Remote Desktop Connection

Then enter the ip address or hostname of your XP/VS Terminal Server and press the connect button.

As an alternative you can also use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Mac to connect to our XP/VS Terminal Server.

Or you can use rdesktop under Linux (free Linux RDP client ) to connect to our XP/VS Terminal Server. There is also an integrated RDP Client in Mobile devices with Windows Mobile or Windows CE which you can use to connect to our XP/VS Terminal Server.

There are even Java based RDP clients and RDP clients as Web Browser plugins. So you can connect to our XP/VS Terminal Server with nearly any device without having to install additional software on the client.
